After checking the grounds I still have the same problem...no fuel pump. I hardwired the fuel pump again and it definatley works. We tried to start the car by using the pump hardwired in and still nothing. Which leads me to believe that I'm not getting any spark either. We took the plug off one of the ignitors and checked for power at each pin while cranking the engine. It seems as though there isn't any power..I also realize that this isn't the proper way to check for spark. So my latest and recurring guess is that there is some sort of inertia switch or security device telling the car "DON'T START". I don't care what kind of questions or ideas yall have, lay'em on me !

Thanx for the reply. My buddy just told me that he found a way to reset the ecu. I don't know if it will work but the next time I get my hands on the car I'm gona try it. I'm really scrambling now. I 'm dying to get this thing running so I can get started on the body work .

Is the vehicle immobilizer system activated? If you pulled the ecu from the car, you may have to reprogram the VIS so that the car can start.

If I think of something later, I'll post it up.

I did't remove the ECU but I did remove the plug from it to do my wiring . Is resetting the ECU and resetting the VIS the same thing ?

No. I don't know off the top of my head how to reset the VIS. It might say in the owners manual. I can't look though, since I sold my G35.

I'll do a search and see what I can find for you.

Is the security light on the dash continuously lit, or blinking differently than normal?

Did you try calling kmech7? He said it was okay to call him, and his number is listed in his profile. (619)990-8170

Yes I think the red light is different but I don't know how to explain it . I've got my owners manual so I will look in there for reset ideas. Yes I've called kmech7 and he had a couple good ideas, but the car still isn't running yet. thanks for the replies..keep'm coming!

What electrically did you mess with?

All I did electrically was what the blower install instuctions said. Which was a total of 7 different wires. 4 of them were "T" connections and 3 of them were "Intercept" connections. ALL of the wires were triple checked prior to connections. They were also ALL soldered and shrink wrapped. After the first time I tried to start the car (to no avail ) I ended up taking the E.C.U. harness back out of the car and checked the wiring once again. Other than the E.C.U. main plug I also disconnected 4 other plugs to get the harness up and out of the firewall to do my connections ( as per the instructions). Tomorow I am going to reset the E.C.U. and the V.I.S. .... wish me luck !!

Sounds like a bad FMU box....when i went stage4 a long time ago i had a defective one right out of the box.Try rewiring the cam and crank sensors back to stock and see if it starts. If its starts...well you found your problem.
