Third, the Tanabe axle back exhaust is $359 while the Stillen equivalent is $295. I like the sound of the Stillen one better from what I can tell from the videos people have posted on YouTube, so should I just go with the Stillen?
Fourth and final question, the Stillen store sells their brand of strut bar for $169 and the versaspeed site sells the DC Sports brand for $139. Is there any real difference between these two? I can't imagine one being that much more effective than the other. Also, the Stillen one is pictured as being red. Does anyone know if they all come in red or are they like the body components and require painting?
Eibach springs do tend to be more expensive than many brands. I personally don't know much about Tanabe, but others here say they're reputable. What I do know of Eibach compared to say, Sprint suspensions, is that they are much better for daily driving, but still give you the sport aspect.
Next... neither. You should wait for the AEM catback. because all an axleback will do is change your exhaust note with no change in power. The catback, even if it doesn't give immediate gains (which it probably WILL give...) would give you more gains the more items in your intake/exhaust you swapped out. Remember, folks: axlebacks are for show. Catbacks are FTW.
Finally... there is probably little difference between them. The stillen one is probably pre-painted, but that means you at least know it CAN be painted if you want to go back and change it later.
