First off, thanks to RJDMMFL1 for coming down and allowing us to install the splitter onto his coupe..

Here's some photos we quickly shot, and we have some more up on our new blog, along with some additional information on the piece: http://blog.stillen.com

These will be available extremely soon, and pricing and production timing are being worked on now, look for that soon.

Those are the stainless steel turnbuckles, and are basically support brackets for the splitter itself.

As these vehicles aren't (typically) going to be in excess of 200mph like our NASCAR bretherin, one would call these more visual than being an absolutely necessary component. But they are in fact very functional.

They are included in the kit, optional for install. (We do recommend some additional fasteners just for safety if you don't install the turnbuckles.)

Those looks pretty cool, but is there a danger of scratching the splitter if you bump the curb while parking or something? I'm just thinking I go too far into a stall, bump the curb and the splitter scratches/cracks/falls right off.

questions: is it the pictures' angles or is the splitter pointed upwards? and would't that cause lift ,if so? shouldn't it have a downward tilt instead? thanks! asthetics wise I'm not too fond of it... doesn't look bad though.

Looks great! Definitely adds a much more sporty appeal to the stock fascia!

of course, you can scratch it if you oull too far onto a curb. I actually did that yesterday, but since the front bumper on the rear fascia is pretty high, and these only subtract a centimeter or so clearance wise, you're good to go.

I should also note that my car is lowered with the Eibachs 1.5 inches in the front... but even still, the splitter went right over the curb, not into it!

So, since most curbs are about the same height (regulations), you will be fine with this splitter!

they are almost finished with the sedan's splitters from what they told me!

its just the angles, the splitter is pretty dead even straight.. as far as looks, everyone definately isn't gonna like it.. but for me, it was either this or the front lip, and since this was free, I chose this! Anything is better than the boring and poorly sculptured factory front

Yes.. these are not great photos.. we just wanted to shoot something while Robert was here. We'll want to pull a vehicle into the photo studio and get much better angles, etc.

On the sedan splitter, I apologize Robert, that hasn't been done yet, it's the lip spoiler that's basically less than a week away from being finalized..

Yup and I've already offered up my car for it. Kyle said he would probably contact me by the end of next week.

Yep - even that old Nissan Coupe - why I bet you still have to put a key in the ignition to start it

Any type of front lip splitter is going to be vulnerable to curbs etc. But I think the splitter has an advantage over the lip - the splitter is unpainted - so any damage would be harder to see.

Cali's back from vacation ...actually, the Stillen Splitters are painted with a UV protecting black base coat, but as you said, it is easier to hide damage...

I'm still gettin use to it, I've hit 2 curbs already, no visible damage though, its always at really low speeds, like .1 mph

I understand what you're saying! Its not very aggressive, not as aggresive as the Stillen fascia or their Lip spoiler... but I needed something a tad bit more aggressive than the factory front, and I was gonna grab the lip spoiler from someone here on the forum.... but hey, when Stillen mentioned free, I jumped on it!

Tell me you wouldn't have done the same if you lived 70 miles from Stillen's front door

Angle shouldn't be as important as shape. If you look it's flat on topand curved on the bottom. This means air travels faster over the bottomthan the top, thus it creates a low pressure area sucking the car down.
