I know there is one guy who does have this on his Altima 2.5. Just wondering if we can hear a sound clip please? Ive searched youtube for a more recent Altima 2.5 model with it and have had no luck. Any help would be much appreciated for my future purchase.

Wow, that sounded beautiful. I think I've decided to go with the Stillen Exhaust over the NISMO Exhaust, lol.

Yeah not exactly the best sound clip. I did find one on AOL Youtube.

http://video.aol.com/video-det...cvsv1

Anyway this is ALOT better of a sound clip. (outside the car)

Anyway me personally I want something alot more deeper but in the description the car owner says its a "bit" deeper than the Video depicts. Hope this helps others as well

Why a friends house?

And i got the stillen on my 2.5 but it was probably my video you saw on youtube. White debaged expect the burger right? I cant get a decent sound clip with a run of the mill camcorder. My friend has a boom mic....too bad he left to a college 3 states away.

Yeah the white one. It sounded good, you said it was deeper than what it sounds like on the vid? Anyway it sounds nice but I still want to keep my options open. All ive hear is the stillens cat back. I wonder if anyone will have nismo or something else. Im almost debating just buying mufflers and putting them on for now. but i want a deep sound and i doubt mufflers will do that for the 2.5s

I don't think an axle-back exhaust will have you the sound you are looking for. I have the cat-back on my sedan and it's very deep and throaty. I would recommend to anyone in a heart-beat. I have a video of you tube of mine installed but I only have a digital camera so there's no sound.

yeah. im pretty sure the sound between yous and the one in the link i provided only vary slightly but if you could provide a sound clip by all means . But yeah Maybe im just better off penny pinching until i have enough for the stillen catback.

Well i had the money and asked for it and my parents said no (im 17), they don't like the noise...so i bought rims with some money in my bank account (its monitored which blows). so the only way i can get the stillen is if i get enough cash to pay my friend to order it for me and have it shipped to his/her house and install it there....I think ill have enough cash by summer though.

How you going to drive around without your parents noticing your catback? Although the first few days the exhaust is a LOT louder then it normally but when everything settles into place, its quiet when not on the gas and its aggressive when you are on the gas. I dont want the damn fart sound while im in neutral like other ricers put into their car. Not all attention is good attention.

o they wont know till one of them drives it which is rare....but when they find out ill just say some BS like its just the tip that makes all the noise...and then ill play the "improved highway gas mileage" card but cant wait till summer when i get er done

It will be louder at first because all the noise will be vibrating off staright metal. However over time the carbon will settle on the inside of the exhuast metal so it will just be a carbon on carbon sound, if that makes any sense. At any rate, you will go from raspy and loud in the beggining, to throaty and subtle after its broken in

the only thing i've found was http://www.turbomagazine.com/t....html but that's for 3rd gen v6 altima and together with air intake kit. they got about 20 horse power increase from both, so i'd assume you'll get about 1/2 that from exhaust alone.

Is the Stillen 2.5 Sedan Cat-back two pipes from the resonator back or just one that Y-s off near the mufflers? The pics on the stillen site are confusing b/c the 2.5 and 3.5 have the exact same pic of a dual system??? seems like the two engines would have two different exhaust setups?

Thanks xeene, seems like the stillen is the logical choice. Nismo is too much $$$ and every auto shop in the area wants $3-400 just to custom bend pipe for me (plus the $2-300 I'll spend on Magnaflows). And there's no guarantee it will fit. At least I get that with the Stillen. How do you like yours? What kind of power increase do you see (or feel). I'll have a new Fujita next week to compliment it. If I get 15-20 total with both I'll be happy, plus it will sound better:)

this exhaust is a lot louder in person then in the video with a deeper growl. when you're standing still you almost can't hear it, but once you give it a little gas oh man does this beast come to life! i love it! i hope i don't wake up the neighbors, we live in a condo with bunch of senior citizens around
