Nice, calipers look pretty good too, what kind of paint did you use on them?

I used Duplicolor paint from pepboys. It comes with a brake cleaner paint and a brush for 15 bucks. The paint is great and it lasts. I know for a fact cuz I used that on all my cars and it lasted for over 3 years. I looked like new but then i sold the car. It probably still looks new after you clean it.For the price its worth it.For the engine I used VHF spay cans, they go for like 10 buck a can.

I was actually thinking about getting an intake.. but I heard about the ztube...what is really the difference and price wise... which one is better?Do they sound the same?

thanks!

I think the price is almost the same. And I wouldnt know about which one is better or which one sounds better. But to be honest my stillen airbox sounds awesome. Not only the sound but it gives a whisle sound. Kinda like on a turbo engine with an intake

The Z-tube is the intake bellows that connects to the throttle body. It is off the 350Z, hence the name. Its more performance oriented compared to the G35 part due to its strait-through design. This part connects to the air filter assembly (JWT or Stillen).

I recently installed the Stillen airbox, but thought they sent me the wrong z-tube, as the hose fitting is on the bottom. I called Stillen and they said they moved the fitting on the bottom of the tube.

When I try to connect the hose, it seems to kink, and I didn't want to leave it that way. When installing your z-tube, did you have to cut the hose shorter, or replace it with a straight piece of hose?

Nah I didnt cut the hose nor changed the hose with the shorter one. After I connected it i just checked if there is any big bends on the hose.It was fine with nice straight openings so Its fine. Just make sure your Ztube is in the right angle and you shouldnt have any problems.Ill post clearer pics and a close up so you can get an idea, by 2morrow.

Looks good. I just got mine in the mail today and can't wait to install it. I'm sorry to say that i'm gonna have to copy what you did with the painting of the logo. I don't understand why it didn't come that way it looks so much better.

Was it pretty straight forward on the install? I was looking at the instructions that came with it and the pics on the page were crappy.
