I talked to the altima technician from stillen and he was saying a gain of around 10-13 Horsepower can be achieved by changing the stock main crank to the aftermarket main crank which is lighter in weight. Can someone help explain to me how changing a simple main crank pulley to a lighter one which is the standard OEM size can create an excess of 10-13 horsepower? If it is possible to achieve that power then i won't have a problem ordering it at all.

-Thanks-

Hey Cheez...Next time grab the guys name for reference..

Theres 2 types of pulleys...

the 2.5 pulley is just lightweight and creates less rotating mass for the crank to push

the 3.5 is an underdriven pulley which should free up more horsepower than the 2.5 pulley, but as a result it dilutes the power going to the electronics in the car (radio, steering etc) while allowing that power to go to the wheels

(im not a scientist, but this is what I have gathered from the pulley talks)
