Still own your first car?

I know this has been done before (i think) but who still owns there first car? What kind of car is it\was it? What kind of condition is it in? Why did you keep it? (backseat memorys? Trueslide is still waiting for that "special guy") Post up!

Well, I still own my first car, but then again, I'm only 17. ;-) Then again, with the rate at which kids total their cars around here, that's quite a feat. 1990 240SX SE Fastback. Still looks great. Hopefully, with the new engine in there, it will last me, and be both my first and last car, hehe.

Think about it though...if you keep your , lets say s13 for a few years untill the ka dies , then swap in a sr , ca , rb , or build up another lower mile ka most of those come with 30-40 k on them. I think a average driver does about 25k a year or so. If everything goes well that car lasts you like another 7-8 years!

i still have my first type of car lol. i had a 1990 240SX SE Fastback when i was 17, but i got into an accident and now im 18 with a 1992 240SX SE Fastback. my first one was in very good condition (only like one small spot of rust) and i bought this one because i LOVE RPS13s :thumbup

Well, yeah, the thought of going SR when the KA dies has entered my head too. :-) KA->SR->VG->RB20DET->RB25DET->RB26DETT. That should be a good 20 years or so. ;-)

depends on definition of first. my parents got me an alti, but it was never mine so i couldne keep it. Im buying a car in about 1.5 weeks (Yea S13! white fastback 69K se, perfect paint and interior!) so im stoked as hell. i dont think i could sell it. even if/when i buy another. i will drain the fluids, polish the hell out of everything, and put it in my basement or garage to give to my kid. (when i have one in like 10 years.)

still have my first car , almost for a year now and have only put maybe $100 to $200 dollars for repairs,if that much....thats aside from oil changes and new tires,ect...i think sometime in the next 10 years im gonna have the RB26dett or maybe follow in the foot steps of i think 2 of the members on these forums and try to put a 350 in a 240 and supercharge that biatch....i can dream cant i :rolleyes

would it be possible to get a skyline transmission installed with a RB26dett and make the car all wheel drive?

A month after I got my first car; a 92 Mazda 323, the gear knob fell outta my hand and through the floor.

It wasnt a biggie though, it turned out to be rigged up when I bought so I just rigged it up again. Then less than a month later I totaled it. I was only going like 30 when I rear-ended a Cherokee; went right under it, my hood, radiator, fan and all folded right back to my windshield. I Don't even think I scratched the Jeep's bumper and the old beeeyotch gets out and is like "Owwww my neck my neck" Ahhh memories.

im never selling my RPS13, im keeping it. ill just buy other cars to do daily driving in (when i get money to do that lol) and turn my RPS13 into a track car, mmmmmmm racing lol. my two loves are my car and my girl, not gonna get into what order they go in lol

I'm 28, and I had my first car up until last October. I never hated an inanimate object more than I hated by 1987 Ford Tempo. Powder blue paint and no air conditioning. My second car is my '93 240SX.

I still own my first two cars. First car is a 1963 Corvair. Still isn't running after replacing so much on it. I am still thinking if i want to sell it when i finally get it running. Been sitting in the garage for about a month or so now. Been replacing so much stuff on it and still nothing... I'm 20 so that isn't bad for a first car.

Got it when i was 16.

Second car is the one i have now. 91 240sx fastback. And love it to death. Just need to hurry up and finish paying it off then I'm going get an SR from daunt.

Technically I still have my first car...its kinda just sitting there neglected since I got my '93 240. But then again it didn't run too well to begin with (85 Max...my cousing didn't take ANY care of that car, otherwise I'd still be driving it. But hey...I guess it all works out for the better:D )

i'm 20 and on my third car, but i am on my first motorcycle. the first car i got i didn't want and didn't pick out, it was a four cylinder mustang and it was automatic. i think my parents got that so i wouldn't race it. then i got a firebird with a manual, but i tired of shifting so much so i got my Q45. my motorcycle is older than i am, but i plan on keeping it for a long time (and making it into a semi-streetable drag bike).

im 20 and my 89 240sx coupe is my 5th vehichle. i still have my first though 1974 ford mustang II the yea only year the mustang didnt come with a V8 so it has the 2.8 V6. I hope to have it on the road again soon so i can have 2 cars and not worry about having a ride if one of them breaks down.
