Consider the following:

Good T04E $400+ (I've got one for sale)external waste gate $350ACT clutch (stock is good to about 200HP) $400+

That comes to $1,150 and there is still a lot left to buy. Especially when you find that you can dial that T04E to 300HP on stock internals.

OR

Use a Z31 or similar for $150 and save the cost of the waste gate plus keep it around 200HP and save the cost of the clutch. By the way, you'll make up for it with faster spool too.

Now take that extra $1000 and upgrade your fuel system properly so you don't blow your motor. You might also know that the SOHC maps are not deciphered yet so burning an eprom is risky as well.

As for manifolds, Gladman has a nice one that might flow a little better for $275 finished. Unless you are really a good welder. Also, the SR turbo is a bottom mount and can't be used on most manifolds.

Bottom line, the T04E is great but going much above 200HP is going to cost an extra $1000

I was going to go 300HP with my T04E - now I'm selling it and planning 200-225 with faster spool for $1000 less. Perhaps the DSM 14b with internal waste gate.

Wanna buy my T04E?

S13, I just bought some parts cleaner, so I will sell you my T3 compressor for a good price, so you can do the T28, while I do my rebuild. The only thing to know is what is the turbine on your T25?

I dont have a turbo tho, the dsm t25 turbo i got rid of it since everyone said it was too small, i have no turbo right now, have no money for a turbo at all anymore since my clutch died, and now i'm gonna need a new transmission since the old one wont come and usually it just falls right out, but nope not this time, the transmission is being gay and its like super locked tight on the engine block, so i'm gonna end up beating the **** out of it soon with a hammer and pry-bar.

If that ever happens I just pry it off, it is best that you got rid of the DSM T25, it's flange is hard to find, and I think only JGS makes a mani. You might think about the T25 from an SR, then the compressor uprgrade. A proper T28 can be a very beautiful thing. And with a .60 A/R T3 compressor, and a .86 T25 turbine, it wouldn't be a half bad one.
