To me miles aren't something bad if there are records of maintenance. But I do recommend you looking for an 04' because they usually all have nav. I wish mine had it.

Infiniti dealer performed maintenance history and verified OCI is everything.

A Nissan estended warranty is a good thing.

Too many miles – 70-80,000 is highLow mileage 25-35,000 lowAverage mileage 40-60,000 is average.Pricing will be subjective based on areas, so do not be afraid to pay 22-23 for a low mileage with nav.

The main thing is to pull the service record and make sure that the car has been maintained from 5000,7500,10,000, etc… Also, verify that the oil changes have been consistent and see if you can verify if it has been a synthetic blend. If possible avoid buying a car in very cold cities such as Chicago, NewYork,MI, MN, etc... that tend to use salt on roads. Cars are cheaper for a reason in those states, so be aware. I saw an 01 BMW 3series that was from Chicago and an 01 Merc ML from Boston that was jack'd up with rust, but anyhow.

Here is one in ABQ NM at the local Inf dealer; I’d be more than will to inspect it for; let me know. Not sure what color you want, but... This looks to be a lease return and its an AZ/NM car. No rust! I promise http://www.autotrader.com/deal...1&y=6

I just got my 04, fully loaded, black on black for $25K out the door and it only had 22,6XX miles on it. Like it's been said, don't worry about mileage so much as look for documented maintenance.

i bought a 4-bangin bone stock 96 Camry during college and demanded documentation with no worries of miles...i will demand the same with a purchase 4x the price...i do believe in paying a premium for both low miles and docs...but somewhere there must be a break-even point "x" amount of miles vs "y" price it has been found by some of you...i am stilling looking for that perfect intersection of mileage/docs and price...

on a tangent...where did you find/buy...? i am still using autotrader, ebay, cars.com, etc...

I just purchased an '04 two weeks ago. I got mine at Showcase Imports in Newport News VA. http://www.autoshowcaseimports.com/ I bought it over the phone and it was a great easy experience. They have had a few and she told me she can get anything from the auctions. I dealt with Janice and she was great tell her you want the M45 Florida Special. Good Luck on the purchase.

Spent a year (literally) monitoring Autotrader for this car. Ultimately found it at a Carmax dealer in North Carolina and had it transferred to a local dealer before buying it.

I am going on five months "monitoring" several references...I have yet to utilize the local Nissan dealer or any reseasonably close Infiniti dealers...I do have an acquaintance who is a business mgnr at a large conglomerate dealership in Canada...i believe that i will end up spending precious financial resources looking and touching prior to purchasing...the ocd in me...!

It's worth it; you won't regret finding your perfect car.

I spent a year looking and finally found mine in Chicago. It was a Northern car but was in good shape as the guy that owned it lived in a fancy condo with a heated garage.

Price was a big issue for me as I was trying to lower my 400+ car payment that I was getting out of. I paid $15k for a Black on Black with 55k, none of the fancy packages but to tell you the truth out of warranty that is just more stuff that could go wrong. At least that's what I tell my self everytime I have to adjust the damn seat after my wife drives it haha. Actually thought all that was stock on these cars and got half way home before I realized it didn't have heated/cooled seats and memory seating. Oh well. Not the features I was most concerned with in the car. Plus weight reduction right? haha.

All in all everything with the car has been well. I few rattles here and there that bug me and I have almost totaled the car trying to find, other then that I love my M.

I set my limit at no more then 60k. I fell in love with both. I flew out there after only seeing a few pics and picked her up. There were minor nicks, no dents, and all in all its still under power train warranty for 6 years 70k so I am good with that. I will maintain it properly and it should do me good. I am hoping to get 100k+ out of her before anything too major. So far so good............
