Hey guys, i replaced my tie rod ends recently and theres still a klunking when i make tight turns at low speeds. I replaced them because i saw that they were pretty worn (deteriorating rubber on joint) and because of the klunking noise when turning. It's still making the same sound but the steering is much more smoother and theres not anymore steering wheel "shimmy" on the freeway. What else could be making this noise?I appreciate the help.

Thanks -Alex

Does the steering wheel center correctly?? I was thinking maybe the steering rack bushings are bad?

Worst case scenario the steering rack could be worn.....

do a visual on the sway bar...endlinks was the culprit on my car w/ that sound when i hit a nyc pothole...

of course, check the infamous TCrod bushings as well. after u rule out the steering rack bushings Mr. Trump stated earlier.
