Still having rear problem!!

I have a 90 na and it sounds like the wheel bearings are bad in the rear bacause when i drive it it screams, but its not the bearings so i thinking the diff is bad? what are your thoughts? is this a problem area for the Z. there is about 160,000 on the rear

That's about when mine failed. I had a whirring sound in the rear, not a grind. But, it was constant. I found a Q45 rear end for $175 shipped with 80k on it. I swapped that in because I had done a TT swap and that gave me the TT gearing of 3.69 in an NA rear. The NA rear is 4.09.
