Does the buzzing from the trunk come on when any door is opened or just the driver's door? It sounds like you need a 2nd person, with good hearing (that rules me out), to help.

Take a look at page EL-241, Location of Electrical Units (in trunk), to help pinpoint the noise. The fuel pump, trunk lock actuator and fuel door lock actuator are not shown but they're in the trunk also. There's not a whole lot back there so it should be easy to find.

Paul Wall has good eyes and enjoys reading (interpreting) schematics. Maybe he'll help out here by reading over the Electrical Device circuit and offer some suggestions.

check out EL-9... You can see what fuse goes to what components, and then you can inspect each component individually... Im not sure which one is "electrical component", but you should be able to see on that diagram...

That should help out a lot!

Your dome light relay is sticking and needs to be replaced, I told you the location in an email I sent you. If you need the relay let me know and I will send one over to you.

To prove my theory unplug the relay and see if the fuse stops blowing or just turn the dome light to the "Off" position.

mike me and my dad are doing it together but the noise is so loud im sure you could hear it when any door is opened. i will try what you told me but ill go with Paul's idea first since it seems a bit easier, if that doesn't work ill go with what you said as well as what Wes suggested. thanks everyone for the suggestions
