So yeah...Still isn't running. Swap has been complete for like 2 months now and it still is sitting there. Turns over great, Ill give it that but thats all. Well theres spark too and fuel pump kicks on its just no fuel to the cylinders! spark plugs are freaking dry! Why is this? Oh and no my injectors arent even clicking! Im either thinking i have to use the ca18det injectors (im using ca18de's) or i didnt wire them right or they are bad? And yes ive also switched the feed and return lines too. When I took them out they pump out gas too so I know gas is gettting at least to the injectors? Major help please?? Thanks alot,

Jared

Are the injectors that are in there right now aftermarked ones? If so, you'll need someway to change the signal to the injectors as the stock ECU won't drive them. Try pulling the plug on one injector and put a voltmeter on it. Then either have someone crank the car, or pull the CAS and turn it by hand. You should get 12V to it. If you do, then the injectors are bad/too big. If not, then there is a wiring problem. Figure that out and then we can go from there.

well the injectors are stock, but my ecu isnt, its tunned by gizzmo electronics new zeland...this shouldnt have anything to do with it though should it? So do you think its the wiring then, or bad injectors , or still maybe what im thinking, maybe i have to use the ca18det injectors, not the ca18de ones? Thanks for the help!

well for one why would you run ca18de???anyways your saying your ecu is tuned but it can be tuned for 550cc injectors and a z32 mafs and that can be 1 problem, but if it just has boost cut and rev cut with minor fuel maps changed it should still make your injectors squirt fuel, but if your dropping resistor is not hooked up or even a bad dropping resistor, your injectors will not squirt at all and thats what could be your problem since you get fuel pressure. the dropping resistor is a square box knida like a twinkie with 5 wires and a gray plug kinda like this one on ebay.

I always fix electrical problems from the source of the problem backwards. I would do as I said before and see if you have voltage going to the injectors. If you do, then you know that it's something with the injectors. If you don't then move to the dropping resistor, then the ECU.

LOL, yea, thats a must. Pick one up on eBay if you can. Otherwise hit up BoostBoy or TMS (The Mad Scientist). They should be able to help you out also. Good luck and let us know how it goes!!!

Ok, I got the dropping resistor off a ca16de from nissan for 50 bucks! they cut me a deal...And it plugs in and all...but after the plug, like where its supposed to go, i followed that wire and it ends up in the batery area. Its a pink wire on the ca18det harness side but it doesnt match on the other side? So its not even plugged in really, I need help bad! thanks, i have no clue what im doing really, thanks alot,

I don't know if a CA16 one will work, maybe w/the CA16 injectors it might. I'm not sure what you mean, by "where is it supposed to go?". It's not an in and out kinda deal. It just plugs in and that is it. Try and clarify what you mean, or take a pic or something.

hmm...do you have aim float? cuz that would be easier...but in case you dont, like the resistor just plugs into the harness right? And thats it, and then if i follow the wire in the harness it ends up near the battery area but it ended where i had to cut the wires so i could splice other you know like the main ignition and ecu relay thing? But i dont know how to wire this part, its a pink wire? I dont know, im really lost, i need much appreciated help here.
