code 54 doesnt concern us, just means its getting nothing from the TCU...

are you feeding it proper fuel pressure, and are you getting spark?

You being serious ?

A halfcut is the front half of a car, in this case probably a Q45.

Americans know them as "front clips".

It's up to all of us to educate them!

Wow thanks for some replys guys, i was worried ild never get feed back on this so..

*havent checked the CAS, what is the appropriate method to do so?*whats the best way to check for spark?, being that they are coil-on-plug arrangement. (i was gonna pull one off, plug a "9th" sparkplug in and see if i could get a spark,... but then i retought that idea )

just leave the spark plug in the coil and ground it against the plenum.......

IF your not getting any CAS signal the ECU will throw a code... ONe way to see if its working is with the ignition switch on, simply turn the CAS (after taking it out of the head) and see if you hear the injectors clicking..

yeah, will try the spark plg with the coil grounded on a flying loom- just to be safe(-ish).

if i got spark, ill pull the CAS out and test it. cheers again for the input boys.... i sort of gave up on it for a while...if worse comes to worse and the CAS is shot, where can i get$ one from? cheep-cheep?
