Still Burning Oil

So Far ive switched the head gasket, installed new valve stem seals, and reset the timing, it starts fine but stalls when it idles, (after about 2 seconds if no throttle is pushed). at higher rpms it spits alot of blue smoke out of the tailpipe. could it be possible one of my vacuum lines is wrong? doing a compression test later today to see if the piston rings are bad.
