Whats going on guys? I just recently installed the header for the 2.5. I haven't noticed that much of a gain from it yet, still have to take it to the track and get some numbers on paper to really know. However i have noticed a nice pop or back fire when i shift or let off the gas and a nice flutter when above 4k rpm's. :wtf2:

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced any of these problems or can shed some light on these for me. I will post up a video clip once i get a chance to help out hearing what i hear.

Thanks guys.

i have this problem too, not so much after my tune, but if u have a bully dog tuner just advance the timeing 2 degrees, mine was almost completely eliminated by just doing that.

also ive been reading alot online & the most common answer i could find is the "popping/gurgle" sould between shifts,or decelerating is made by unburnt gas hitting the exhaust, which i think makes sence since u just started having this "problem" right after u removed the primary cat

I personally love the gurgulling and the pops mine has, I don't even have headers!! All I have is a Nismo exhaust and if I punch it and let off, it does that, CVT and all... lol

It does sound a little aggressive but at the same time it still sounds like something is going to fall apart. But I like the outcome of the header. I just need to get some dynomat because I just got back from a long road trip and the drone going up hills and highway speeds is ridiculous, but that will have to wait for awhile. Here is a video as promised.
