Stiff Shifter

Sup Peeps..

I got a 240sx 96se.... i have a stock clutch but with a short shifter... Dont know the brand of the short shifter. Wel i have driven other s14 with stock shifter n the changes come in clean. But when i shift in my car the shifter sumtimes go in clean or sumtimes it gets stuck n the change wont go in.. But sumthin else i notice the car picks up alot faster..... Clutch is stiff aswell, n i bearly got to take my left feet off it n it picks up...
