hey everyone. i cleaned my Tb a few days ago and now it sticks really bad. when i start from a stop i have to be carefull with the gas pedal or it will not open the tb and will stall or it will just let loose and my car will jump. i used carb cleaner to spray it out, then i wiped it out with a rag. i have disconected the cable, so i know it is in the tb, i sprayed the springs with wd40, and no difference. another thing, i tried to adjust the idle and broke off the idle adjustment screw and the corner piece it sits in. as far as i can tell, this hasnt made any difference, it still idles good most of the time. but i have run out of ideas to fix it, please help.

I have the same problem. My Dad tells me to put grease on the springs and other stuff on the side of the TB. Havn't gotten around to it yet. If you try it let me know

That's quite wierd. I am going to take a look at mine to see if I can fix it. If I accomplish that I'll let you know.

i put on the spare tb this morning, took me a little less than an hour. but my car runs and drives fine now. i think it might have somethign to do with teh idle adjust crew being broke off, but it didnt seem to be any lower than the good tb, i dotn know. but i got it fixed, thankfully. good luck on yours elnegro, when you find out , let me know.
