hey everyone. i cleaned my Tb a few days ago and now it sticks really bad. when i start from a stop i have to be carefull with the gas pedal or it will not open the tb and will stall or it will just let loose and my car will jump. i used carb cleaner to spray it out, then i wiped it out with a rag. i have disconected teh cable, so i know it is in the tb, i sprayed the springs with wd40, and no difference. another thing, i tried to adjust the idle and broke off the idle adjustment screw and the corner piece it sits in. as far as i can tell, this hasnt made any difference, it still idles good most of the time. but i have run out of ideas to fix it, please help.

Please deal with the crudity of this, I havent done this in a while.

There are 4 allen bolts (I think they are allen type, i could be wrong) that are in the four corners of the plate that mounts the TB to the intake plenum. Also remove the throttle cables attached.

Remove them and the hoses that hook up to it and clean the opening in the plenum and the rear side of the TB. I think there are some coolant hoses there, so make sure to clamp those.

So you broke the idle screw, huh? You will have to replace the IACV-AAC valve on the back side of the plenum against the firewall. A couple of 10mm bolts hold that on and they are a 8itch to get to. Just replace it with a factory part and hook up the harness to it again. Thats all you really should do in my opinion.
