I've had my Rogue for about 5 weeks and this is driving me crazy. It's minor, but frustrating still. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Sticky? What exactly do you mean? Is the vehicle not turning well? Does it feel jerky? Or is it just making a squeaking noise?

I find the electric power steering used on the Rogue (and alot of other Nissan's) works well. The only thing I notice is a slight vibration when stopped and you turn the wheel slightly. It also hums a bit when making very fast steering movements (ie backing out of a parking spot).

The steering wheel itself is sticky. My hands are all sticky after driving for any length of time. I'm wondering if there's something I can clean it with that will help.

I'd wipe it down with alcohol. You can use goof off but the smell will stick around for a day or two. No pun intended.

Please tell me someone did not Armor All your interior. If it was, it will be a very big PITA to get rid of it. The silicone in Armor All migrates everywhere either by touch or evaporation. I do not know if this is the cause of your problems, but it could be.

I recommend you use a silicone free product like 303 Protectant for interior plastics. A lot of boating guys swear by it. It provides protection against UV rays, dirt, dust, water marks, etc. It's low gloss and not sticky or oily.

Get a suede or leather cover for the steering wheel.
