People just need to consider that we have no knowledge of what they drive or what their present situation is. We only have what info we're given, which in most cases isn't much...so as long as we politely encourage and remind new members to give us more detailed info, problem solved. If you feel it takes too much energy to type a short message asking what year his car is, etc, then step away from the keyboard and let some other member do the dirty work.
We encourage members to post any and all questions. We also encourage them to read the FAQ, as most answers can be found there. It really comes down to type of personality. I notice I'll lurk around a site and collect info before asking anything. Just in my nature to find something on my own. Some people just barge in, kick their boots off, and start spouting off redundant questions all night.... I say let's just enjoy it, and answer what questions we feel we can.
