sticky gas pedal

just bought an s13, but the gas pedal is a little sticky. It only sticks when first pressing it down in like first gear. Would just some WD40 help this out? Is the joint easily locateable? LMK

check for carbon in your throttle body. it doesnt take much.

wd-40 on the return spring, right above the gas pedal, then spray some silacone lubricant.
