I just fixed my squeeky wiper system last week, so this may help:
My wipers were squeeling like hell, but it wasn't the wipers on the glass that was the problem.
I took the wiper arms off, then removed the black plastic cowling at the bottom of the windshield.
The cowling was surprisingly easy to remove. One screw, and a crap load of clips.
This exposes the wiper motor rods and mechanism. With a little Jiggaloo lube spray on all the moving joints, the squeek went away, and the wipers move a lot faster and smoother.
I would think doing the same thing on yours will solve your problem.
The biggest challenge was removing the wiper arms. Be careful when you pry them off.
Good luck.
