Hey guys, I am new to this Forum and have some serious issues with my 1991 300zx Twin Turbo(Automatic), here in Japan.

Problem #1- Sticking throttle... If I have the car in Park, then I can floor the throttle without it sticking. However, when in Drive, the throttle will stick if I completely floor the car. I switched out ECU's, but still had the same problem.

Problem #2- BOOST!! I installed a stage 3 chip with boost jets, but the Z is still only registering .5kg. Which, is the same as the stock ecu setting. I have an ARC intake and a new MAF, also high flow exhaust. Could this car be sitting in safety boost because of another problem? How the hell can i get this baby to boost where she should?

Problem #3- When I had the car on the freeway, I hear a beeping sound coming from behind the dash when I hit about 75MPH. It sounds like the beeping is coming from around the center of dash.

When I took the car into the shop, the technician told me that there is an airflow problem from somewhere. He said that there could be a turbo problem, or who knows what else. To really know, he would need to pull the motor.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

ok problem #1, might sound stupid but try driving without floormats, I had this happen in my stanza, the pedal would stick at the edge of the mat only when driving something abut the angle I would puch the pedal, might be way off base but worth looking into

problem #2, are you sure the boost just were installed properly? they go in the lines right before the wastegate actuators, if you've got them before the "T" or in the wrong line they won't work

OK, I finally broke down and took her into Nissan "Red Stage" yesterday. They ran her through a CPU check, found that the car needed a new water temp sensor. The guy told me that the water temp sensor and the throttle problem are related. So, I will get that changed out. Hopefully, getting the water temp sensor swapped out will take the car out of safety boost.

Replacing the knock sensor will cost more than $1000 and it is still not guaranteed to fix the prblem, Geez!!! Well, I will post back after I get the water temp sensor replaced. Hopefully, this helps others out in the long run...Pain in the butt when it's happening, though.
