Hello all, I am new to the forum. I tried to search but for some reason the drop down menu in the search does not offer G35???

Anyway I have a 2008 G35 Sedan. I love this car. I noticed something strange the other day. It was raining ( I had drove about 10 miles)and when I came to a stop at a light when the light turned green. I released the brake and there was a brief second where the pads were still engaged to the rotors. There was a slight "pop" and then the car moved. The next light it did the same thing.

It did that for about the next 20 miles. Then it stopped raining.

Now I have noticed that when the car is driven for about 10 -15 miles I start to get a vibration when the brake is applied.

I have been driving various sports cars for 30 years and I have never warped a set of rotors. It is hard for me to believe that this level of car would have issues with brakes.

Anyway I appreciate any feed back. I do all my own mechanical work but this seems very strange to me, I am scheduled to go to the dealer on Tuesday.

By the way the car has 38K on it all highway. The pads are in good shape - 50% or better.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Welcome to NICO!

Odd...I haven't heard of any sticking pads on the new 08+ sedans. Has it done it during dry weather?

No it only happens when it is wet. I was going to the dealer but I think I will just replace the pads and front rotors myself. I read the article from Stoptech about material transferring to the rotor unevenly. That article and other information on the Stoptech site made a lot of sense.
