Yes, yes it does. I finally installed the springs I've had sitting in a corner for 9 months, and I also finally had exhaust done.

Springs - Eibach Pro-Kits on stock struts. Handling is amazing, very tight, nimble. Drop was exactly what I was looking for, not too much, not too little. 1.2" in front, 1" in rear according to Eibach specs. I'll be adding KYB AGX struts as soon as I buy them and then have the motivation to rip my suspension apart again. :)

Exhaust - I went the custom route and am VERY pleased with the results. I bought a 3A Racing muffler off ebay for about $80 bucks. Straight-through design, dual resonated 3"tips. I took this beast to an exhaust shop and had a 2.5" mandrel bent pipe put on. Exhaust is now very straight, it sounds orgasmic, very deep, throaty, and mellow. Power gains were quite nice as well, I did NOT lose any low-end, and definitely gained mid and high end power. So damn torquey.

Here are some pics of the revised '96:

Very cool and tasteful. I was weighing the Pro-kit vs. S-Tech myself.

I like the exhaust, looks real wiz..."almost" factory but just a little nicer looking, rather than those oversized annoying buzz-cans I keep seeing on the highways. I'm glad you had such good results on both mods.

Ha...thanks but no thanks. :)

Never been interested in posing on my car or anyone else's. I'd rather be recognized for kicking azz on the tracks than for looking good in a swimsuit.

NO swimsuits! We just want to show how many chicks share our love for cars...

Hope you'll reconsider Summer - You're a big part of NICO and we'd love to have you participate. Put on some jeans and a t-shirt and get a pic with your 240. C'mon, it'll be cool!

BTW, the car looks GRAT now! Nice and clean, perfect drop!

go read the thread in general section.. I think it's a great idea... we even have a member who submitted a pic of his baby girl with her mom... (I think)

:) but none of the 97-98 have them, and its hit and miss on the s14b's as to which have them as well... Only way to tell simply is by the heatshield or the brackets, or the weld spots for the brackets if you happen to rip those both off :)... The single cat ones dont have any traces of a HS on the dummy.

Good thing is if you run a HS header you wont have to buy a new cat to be "legal". I just kept mine on as N1 + 2.5" ss test pipe + HS was extreamly loud, but with the N1 and HS and stock cat it sounds good. I have a 3" SS tesp pipe on the shelf I made for the KA-T, but its been there a long time now.

Oh and you posted your picture in the air dam repair how to you made. So you really didnt have to post a new one, but they are always nice anyway :) Looks good, even though its kinda odd being so dark, after you saving it was 2 mins ago in the middle of the day hehe

96 S14 - I'm debating on whether to be a HS header or not. I want one, but I know I'm going the SR20 route eventually, so part of me just wants to conserve cash for that. I know I don't want a test pipe, I never really care for the exhaust note with those on. I'm content with the cat, although a high-flow I wouldn't be opposed to but can't seem to find anywhere.

The pic looks dark because I'm inside my apartment with the light off and the blinds closed. I've been too lazy to turn it on, so, yep. The light is camera flash and monitor glow.

And you're right, I did have a pic of myself with that front lip restoration. Forgot about that. Ah well. This one is better anyway. My lip is scraped up again already :( I need to redo it, I suppose.

Kreig - While no one dislikes compliments, but it actually doesn't make too much difference to me to be "oogled" over . :) I'm taken, and happily secure with myself as it is.

But thanks to those of you who have commented either on my car or myself. :)

You dont want to see my front lip its, um bad. Its almost completely flat now as my driveway shaved it to work properly, and has some massive chips in it.. The drivers side vent support is cracked straight through as well. It actually has a very slight angle to the grind as I must come in at an angle, and still catch it if I dont. I also like to rest it on parking curbs hehe, and impale cones into it at high speed.

I was thinking of leaving it how it is and adding a white vinyl "cone killer" sticker to the center, spanning between the two vents :)
