Was going down a slightly curvy road and went around a very mild right hand corner, however mid apex of the corner there was a bump and then a dip immediately following it. Basically made the rear end jump which caused the traction to break free in the rear, and the roads were wet. Went into a slide, front went into soft dirt ditch rolled onto the top. Stopped for a second and though "Whew that wasn't so bad...." And then it started to slide down the embankment to the road below....

Few seconds later... I turn the engine off. unbuckle "Hey is someone in there, you ok?"

"Yea im alright...well not ALL RIGHT, but I'm fine be out in a second..."

foraged around for cell phone, activated my GPS tracking for girlfriend while i climbed out...

The altima held up really well was surprised it only took that much damage. If i was going to get another new car it would be another altima...perhaps with slight suspension work on the rear end...

I have a scratch on my hand...

Insurance doesn't like me so much that car replaced my 06 malibu maxx which was stolen in september...so yea I'm backin off the spendy rigs for now and getting a 4Runner. Its that time of year in the pacnw wheelin/campin/and more wheelin...

Wow that's terrible though I'm glad you're ok and I'm glad to know I'm driving in a safe car! As I scrolled down through the pics of it in the tow yard I was surprised at how relatively little damage there was for the type of accident it was in. Take care!

damn bro- good to c ur good

imo- airbags are only allowed to go off at certain points of impact, since it was a rollover and no force/thrust on a particular body panel, the car would have done more harm to you in a non-'systematic' or presumed crash. hence the testings - they do rollover as a rollcage- but not a poofy one hah :P instant front bumper, instant t bone, instant rear, not diagonals/corners unless the oncoming force is huge- hence airbag
