thats the most gayest, most set up pic, EVER.and for the record:1, its nice how it appears in front of the city skyline, right?2, its nice how both cars are totally riced out, right?3, they put your *** in the back of the car, not on the ground. you could catch a cold that way!4, that thing has ****ing civilian tags.

looks like a RG or GS. ghey! that first pic looks fake, i.e set up. but the car doesnt look fake. i like how he just happened to drive up on them, staged and everything, and they not run off. real ricers would run from the cops. even if they handcuffed your ***, just take off running.

it's just a uh....crap, can't remember the word for it...

public image type thing, they take the picture to spark interest in the youth, maybe get involved with the CSP from the car, in the same since of the D.A.R.E. cars you commonly see, except maybe it's also an actual cruiser which would make some sense due to the lack of good performance at reasonable prices in the domestic offerings. (a reasonably fast mustang is gonna run 25k and still not even have 4 doors).

That being said, I wanna work for the CSP and drive an Impreza.

Well you know, that car is so badass, that instead of having the traditional windshield camera they actually have a camera rig that just follows it around.

Dude.... it's a PR photo... (as in Public Relations)

It's an advertisment if you will. Like 1der said... it's to create interest and also send a message. It's most likely NOT a real traffic stop... but the car is obviously real.

Yeah, thats a PR shot.

But as for the "who would take the picture" questions, There are definitely units that are basically photography and video only units. My friend Mike worked as one for the Ventura Coun ty sherrif's dept. Basically he filmed all the training videos and demo videos for the academy.

He was always on call, so if the dept wanted him to come out and take some pictures of their newest toy making a bust... he would.

That is definitely not whats going on here though... absolutely a setup.
