I AM STRIPPING SCREWDRIVERS AND DRIVERBITS trying to get the stupid screws out on the sides of the radio. anybody have any trouble like this before? any advice would help

those things wont budge!

I used a 1/4" ratchet/socket combo with a phillips bit. I actually broke three bits but was able to finally get the screws out.

Yeah, when I did my install the same thing happened to me. I used my cutoff wheel in my rotary tool (Dremel or other) to cut a big slot in the screw and then used a large flat head screw driver to get them out. I had 2 or 3 do that to me. Penetrating oil (Kroil) would probably help too.
