Stereo shuts off

I just had my Stereo power off 3 times in about 15 minuets. I have a 2015 Frontier with 15k miles. Pretty frustrating stuff. Am I correct that the antenna is the ground for the unit? I checked the connection at the antenna and it was pretty loose. I got at least 6 full turns on it. I don't know if that fixed it or not as this seems to be random. Anybody have input on this?

A couple of weeks have gone by with no issues. I'm prepared to say the antenna is the ground for the stereo and if loose will cause it to loose power.

Dang, this one slipped under the radar. Thank you for posting your solution. I hope others can benefit. Welcome to NICO Club! We really do have truck activity, though sporadic at times. Honestly, I think the antenna can work as a secondary ground, but I think your head unit has a primary ground. You should maybe pull the stereo out and reground that head unit.
