i got a '95 infiniti j30 used, ofcourse, from my friend. first problem is the stereo wouldnt turn on, blown fuse. with that problem taken outta the way, the problem now, is that it sees whenever theres someone in the passanger seat, the radio will cut in and out when it chooses. then again at times when im alone in my car, it cuts in and out on its own. at one point, just the fm would cut out, but the cd player and tape deck would work, now its at the point where that the cd player wont read any cd's(retail or burned). and the radio still cuts in and out at random times. ive had ppl tell me this is a problem from the wiring. then again, thats a lil hard to believe cuz i dont think that a faulty wire would make the cd player not read cd's. im strong at believing that the stereo itself is bad. anyone every some across this problem at all??? btw, its the stock bose system.

ps. theres 3 wires in my trunk that arent connected to anything in the trunk, one of them goes directly to the radio, that one is for the car phone/cb radio. the other two, im not too sure what they are for, hopefully someone could help me out with that too.

The changers mount in the trunk, at the ends of those cables.

oh, ok. sorry if i was being a pain to anyone on this thread.

is it possiable that the connection in the back is just for like a generic aftermarket one?? also, what are the manufactures that make their cd changers with that connection??
