Just a quick question on the versa's stereo. What size is it? It looks double-DIN, but i'm not sure.

Another stereo question: Other than the Aux inpu from the face of the stock stereo, is there an Aux input in the back (inside) of the stock stereo? I'm asking this because the dummy installer at Best Buy didn't listen to me when I told him to check and see if there's a Aux input in the back of the stereo. In stead I have wires creaping out of the face pate, etc. and really hate the fact that the face plate isn't sitting tight. I have a Harmon Kardon Drive + Play installed but don't like how it was installed. Any information would really help. Thanks.

Unfortunately (for your situation) there is no Aux input in the back of the HU, so I'm not sure what you can do with that wire.

If you know someone who's savy with electronics, they can put an extra input on the back or bottom. Just make sure it's in a workable position before you have them install one.

JEM, I have a question

what would be the best solution to hooking up an ipod to the Versa? (I have a 1.8S, I'm not sure if there is/would be a difference between it and the 1.8SL set up, but just to clarify)FM Transmitters blow, and I tried to do a direct transmitter that just plugged into the antenna cable jack in the back of the stock stereo, but I couldn't seem to find the jack, all I saw was the wire harness. And I've been to Circuit City and Best Buy (and even ABT) and they both said that there isn't a dash kit for the Versa yet.so what do you think my options are?-thanks

Well, if by best you mean easiest, then the FM transmitter would suffice. I've always hated using them too, but sometimes you have no other choice. If you're feeling really ambitious, you can do some research on how to soder a line in connection to a head unit without one, but I've never done it, so I can't assist you in that area. I had to deal with the fuzzy reception of an FM transmitter for about a year or so before I got the V, so you have my sympathy, because it is frustrating and a big PITA.
