There ya go. Mine's the 240. I personally know. the owner of the SPL Grand Prix and helped him with the new wall install, the owner of the T/A, and the owner of Stereo Integrity and he's a great guy. Anyone considering subs in the $300 should definately check these out. VERY efficient and clean.....get nasty loud as well. Heading to Lynchburg for a MECA comp this sunday. Looking to set the VA state record in SR3. Lemme know what you guys think.

as long as it sounds good... although i don't think it'll have a chance of winning any shows as far as looks are concerned. :( but i'm just picky about things like that

i don't really bother too much with them because i'm more for car performance. I'm kinda tapped for money anyway cause i just ordered a ca18det. Aside from all that, most of my other friends are all big into systems so i really didn't feel the need to be just another kid w/ a "system". all i have is a pioneer deh-1500 head unit and a pair of pioneer ts-a4667's for my doors. personally i think they sound great and perform surprisingly well for how little i spent on it all.

Sup guys... first of all K-Mart, your car looks really clean man. you will have to let us know what you hit in DB Drag. second, iliketocrash... K-Mart's car is set up for SPL, and i believe that the port is removable so that you could put a different tuned port into the middle. In DB Drag, you dont get more points for flash... it is a clean and functional install, but not flashy. it would be really easy to lay mirrored acrylic over that and hide a few neons.... but it wouldnt change the sound... everybody goes for something different...

why you gotta jump on me? the first thing i said was "as long as it sounds good". I really don't have any doubts on how well it performs. I was just saying its not much for looks. That's just my opinion. Whatever, i don't need to explain myself. Its an opinion, its not like i'm tearin it apart or anything.

Oh, forgot to mention. I went to a comp a couple weekends ago. It was a MECA comp and, of course, they use the notoriously hard Linear X. Well, this one was a full 2.5db down from the LinX mic used at a show at the same shop a week earlier, so most everyone was adding around 2db or more to their scores and getting what they usually do. I competed in SR3, which is Street Reality. In the reality classes, the mic is placed at the headrest for a better reading of the spl experienced by a person in the car, so scores from that class are normally 5-7db lower than the other classes with same power/woofer area. That said, I did a 136.8db, which isn't very impressive untill you consider that was with a 35hz tone out of a trunk. A MECA world record holder, and good buddy of mine, said it would probablly correlate to a 145 or so on a good mic at the kick, where the reading is normally taken in MECA. With a little more tuning and a larger port tuned a little higher, i'm hoping for a 140-142. Either way, I'm sitting in 10th place overall, which is good enough for an invite to world finals.
