ok, i know ur gonna say use search....i did, lol93 vert 7 i need to replace the stereo. i bought a new jensen cd player off e-bay and need some directions on getting the factory unit out & the new one in. hope i don't have to pull console. thanks in advance to anyone willing to take the time to help meSteve

theres a trim trim around the radio, do you see that? its a whole peice thats a different plastic than the dasboard. you pry that off, it pops out. After thats out you can access the bolts to take the radio out.

Thanks Krash..........i was afraid they're would be a brace on the back i couldn't get to. i appreciate the info.Steve

no problem, fyi its easier to pop out the trim from the bottom where the shifter is

Remove the ash tray and you should be able to push the clip from the bottom on the passenger side. That way, you don't have to use a flat head screw driver to pry it out and clips on the back won't get damaged.
