I took my car to Creative Car Tunes in Harrisburg, PA to get my Rockford Stereo stuff put in. They are doing the install with the 2 - 12s to look like a Nissan logo in the truck. Got some STRI Gauges (for the ARTISAN Turbo Kit next) molded in the 3 top vents and cocked to face me when I drive. Running a new head unit with Nav, and stuff. Here are some shots.

I've seen folks with this texture kit before, but it was fabricated. After smoothing out the stereo kit, they had to smooth out the vent area. It looks really nice dude! Good job! What brand dash kit is that? Scosche?

I like the Nissan Logo IDEA... in the truck, but damn. There goes what little trunk space was left.

However, that dash is nicccce. I like that texture.

I'm sure that's going to be one sick AC! Like the Nissan Logo Idea too. Love the rims too! Who makes 'em and what's the size and offset? Good Job! Be sure to post up more pics when it's all done!

yeah, they have other colors. I got mine from dash4less on the internet. Hit the search button and look up carbon fiber or dash kit, you'll see my thread where I talk about the kit. Also, be sure to spend a LOT of time prepping your dash first.. it'll make the difference between a bad installation and a great installation!

Very good question, you have to use 3M prep solvent, or something that has the same components. People think denatured alcohol will do the job, but they're wrong. 3M prep solvent is the best compund to use.

You need to use papertowels, thoroughly soak them with 3M prep solvent, and clean each dash piece 3-4 times. 5-7 times if you have used armor all on them in the past. After each clean with the prep solvent, use H20 in the same manner to clean each piece. So a toatal of 10 - 14 times for EACH piece. It may seem like overkill, but for those that don't do it this way, their pieces end up falling off in a year or two, and then they blame it on the kit, when in actuality, it was their poor dash prep!

After you have cleaned each piece, you must warm up the trim pieces with either a hair dryer or the vehicle's heating system. Just set the heating system in the car to high, close the windows, and it'll get everything to the right temperature. For the dash peices, warm each one up individially by placing them over the vent for the defroster.

After you've heated up an individual piece, remove the backing and apply to the dash. If you get it wrong, you will have to use the hairdryer to heat the piece up again and remove it.

Good luck!

Thanks Doc! When you say "Clean each dash piece, I assume you are referring to the dash it self and not the CF dash pieces. Also, where can one buy 3M prep solvent?

Holy cow man... When i was trying to bring my wheels and tires to get mounted i realized the car cant hold anything... i had a tire in the passenger seat and 1 wheel in the trunk... damn 20s... anyways.. i totally dig the subs in the trunk.. but whats going to happen if you get a flat on those bad boys... better hope AAA has a thinwall socket... Also, i used to have 2 12"s in my mustang and had 3 amps running them and i enjoyed riding thru parking lots setting peoples alarms off.... idk whats happened to me in the past yr, but i cant stand to listen to music nearly as loud anymore... and the combination of low profile tires and bone rattling bass.... well... better know where all the cleanest public bathrooms are bc it will do a job on your stomach lol

LBC, I totally feel you! i had 2 x 12" Rockford Fosgate T1 subs (650 RMS a piece), a Poer 10001BD Amp (1200 w RMS) a custom ported trunk encolsure , and a Rockford Amp pushing 8 internal speakers... loved rolling through mall parking lots, being "that guy" setting off alarms...

but now I'm an old married man, and I hate loud music, and cars with systems pulling up next to me bumping their system like I use to do... lol, go figure!
