I have a 95 240 and this is my third stereo I'm installing. I hooked everything up correctly (triple checked) but I dont get any radio stations. I'm putting in an alpine and it has the antenna adapter for me to plug my adapter in to but I cant find it anywhere. I know the stock stereo didnt need an antenna to be plugged in and my last kenwood deck didnt need it either, Whats up? Do I need to follow my antenna wire all through my car to find the end? My car isn't an SE so the antenna is not powered. Any help would be great, otherwise I'll have to run it the a store and see what they can do, thanks.

there should be a wire coming from antenna that plugs into radio. you definitely won't get am without it. not sure about fm. it is probably hiding.

I followed the wire from the antenna but it ends up with a two prong end, and the adapter from the Alpine is for a single prong adapter. I'm gonna take a hit on the pride and take it to a shop, thanks...

I called Best Buy and they sell an adapter, yeah I feel a little stupid now. They should of said something when I bought the deck.

That is what sucks about those nissan antennas is you have to pay about 15-20 bucks to convert it. I'm glad to see that you found your problem.

It was just funny because I followed that freakin wire from the antenna all the way to my stereo to find out it was the same wire I'd been looking at all day, at least I got good at removing more panels. The converter was $12.50 if anyone runs into this problem
