Stereo In, now tail lights wont light and dash lights off too

Installed the stereo using a wiring harness and followed the often quoted link for installation. After the install, the tail lights stopped working and the dash lights for the heating section stopped working. BTW - the brake lights work fine.

I found other threads stating not to connect the orange wire. I disconnected the orange wire, but the lights are still out. Probably blew something out. I've checked the fuses, both in the cab and under the hood. All are fine and not blown.

What else can I check to get this working?

Right now I can only drive in the daytime. Please help!

Hey I'm a cerfied car audio installer, which wires have you connected for the deck install? Do you remember the colors? not counting the pairs of GreenPurpleWhiteGray?
