Welcome to NICO!

We have a few stereo guys on the forum that might be able to help. Have you looked at the FSM? Check the G-series FAQ for a link. There should be instructions on how to remove it.

Welcome to NICO bro,

I really suggest using the search function above.

This was the second hit:

Zozo,

Would you mind sending me that email? I'd love to turn it into an article for everybody.

Try doing the ECU reset. If that doesn't work, the dealer may have to do it.

Has anybody been able to crack open a head unit for a NAV equipped car? I'm interested to know what kind of hard drive is in there and whether I could buy a large drive (for music) and then copy the data from the old drive to the new one and go on my way.

Also, it would seem that there would be all kinds of files on there that would be editable - background graphics etc that would be cool to mod even if you didn't change out the drive itself.
