I would love a '67 GTO. But for the utility of it how about a Hummer H1 with a big rig motor swaped into it. Talk about a torque monster.

Aha, I KNEW there was some misogyny behind your use of that clip.

Forget about the girl...there are so many of them, and there's always a better one out there.

and please, put down the sword. :)

Black240 I know what you are talking about those impalas are nice. I had a friend who found one with low miles for like $7500 and he passed on it. Did not know what it was. Oh well. As for your 69 charger 94teggy, maybe one day I could race you in a GTO ;) just for the he11 of it. Those are nice cars too. My Uncle just sold his (I think) 72 with the smallest engin that came in them for like 1500. I wanted to play with it but could not get it down to NC :(

If I was forced to buy American? I assume we're talking new.

Z06, Caddy XLR, Rousch Stage 3 Mustang, Viper - maybe.

Plymouth SuperBird...first american car to bust 200mph from the factory. Now why is it the new Vette's and Supercharged Rustangs can't seem to do that??

Cavalier Z24 with a turbine kit....basically anything with a turbine kit...lol.

True, but that was the NASCAR racer, not the street car. The one the general populace could buy homologated that car.

I would buy an '89 TTA (Turbo Trans Am). Drop in a TA Performance block, Precision turbo of my choice and run 9's with daily drivability as well as handling, braking and stable top-end.

Z06's can suck my dust. :ylsuper

I have yet to find one of those 20th Anniversary TT TransAm's...they are very, very rare. A factory one-off with the GNX engine. Blisteringly fast, bone stock.

Myself, I always liked the '77 solid black/golden chicken T/A with the 400/4-speed combo. "The last of the good guys."

Think I used enough backslashes in that sentence?

its actually round 10 secs stock and any knowledgable tuner would kno that the windstar has proven itself to handle the boost when properly tuned. so i dont kno what ur talking about

Yes that would be true but you have to account for all of the girlscouts that are in that van at all times so with the added weight from all of those cookie monsters i added 9 seconds to the 0-60 time :)
