step 4 wiring question help!!! wiring now

ok im confused as hell about where the damn grey wire comes from... does the grey wire come from the dash harness plug that the red and black/red wire come from?? i have a grey wire on that plug its just that in the 8 step wiring opensource mentions "other efi plug" bottom line I just want to know if I have the right grey wire and if I dont where do I find it.

and how do I know what series motor I have??

Do you have series 2 rb25 or series 1? I believe the write-up was done on a series 1 which has a grey wire for external injector power, the series 2 does not. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

ive read all that but is what i wanna know is where is the grey wire located .... in the opensource right up all of a sudden he starts speaking about the " other efi harness" it was to my knowledge the only harness I was working with was the one from the dash in the skyline... I just want to know where to find the grey wire

easiest say is look on top of the valve cover on the coil pack plate at the back of the engine. if there is an ignitor there, its series one. if its just a plug, its series 2.
