Ok in step 4 of the 8 step wiring it says """From that plug find the black/red and red wires and mate them with the black/red and red wires from the white efi plug and mate the grey wire from the other rb efi plug (see picture) into the black/red from the white efi plug (basically the black red will be split two ways, one into the efi plug and the grey into the other efi plug, see picture).""" I don't see the grey wire coming from where the picture shows. I have a series 1 and I see the grey wire going into the plug, then its a different color wire coming out. In fact on the female side (where the grey wire is) the colors in wires are completely different the the male side of the plug. Is it possible that I plugged two different plugs together? This is the last wire I need to connect. Help would be greatly appreciated.

· 4a. From the KA ECU plug, connect Red wire (101 ECCS Relay) to RB white plug Red wire (AF04 Ign Relay).· 4b. From KA ECU plug, connect Black/Red wire (#36 Ign Switch Fuse) to RB white plug Black/Red wire (AF36 Ign Relay). Get this B/R wire from the KA wiring harness. Refer to step 8 of “KA24de and transmission removal”. This is the wire that was cut at the KA injectors.· 4c. From RB connector A-? , need to connect RB Grey wire (AF81 Injectors) to the B/R wire connection in step 4b (AF36 Ign relay).

I have a series 1 and this is what I did. Basically you will need an ECU printout diagram and find the "af81" wire and trace it to the plug with a voltmeter to be sure.

I hope that help clarify things for you.

On that plug there are 8 wires going to it, Right? If so the grey would be one of two wires in the middle of four on one side. If this is true why when I plug this female connector into the male connector none of the wires are matching colors???

Ok so your saying up until the female connector its gray, then when connected to the male side the wire color changes? If so then just use the wire that corresponds to the gray wire on the white female RB Plug.

I had this problem also trying to find the Black/Red wire on the brownish plug in the engine bay. Apparently its black red on the female side of the plug, and on the male side of the plug they don't continue it as Black/Red but change it to some random color... HTH

There are 2 plugs right next to each other in the RT FT of the vehicle, behind the battery...one grey, one brown.

The brown plub has the black/pink(fuel pump relay) and the other has the balck/red and red in it.

I got those wires finished. All I need to do is find the grey wire. I think I found it. I see a grey wire that goes into the female plug pictured in the 8-step program. Well in the male part of the plus it's a light teal color. As I follow it, it looks as though it goes back to a grey as it runs through the injectors.

The grey wire is power for the injector if I remember correctly.....there are 2 grey plugs in front of the intake manifod...the top one feeds the injectors.....look for the grey one in that plug and check for continuti\\ity with each of the wires ont he injector plugs....then hook that to some power.

So can anyone explain why on this particular plug the wires are different colors on the male side thatn the feemale side? I just want to make sure that I'm cutting the right wire.

Thanks
