I've had this issue for a while, but decided to get it diagnosed this week since I had time.
Before I had my Rack replaced, the steering would center up after making a turn; now it doesn't.
I know its because the Pinion gear isn't lubed up, but Nissan said the steering doesn't center after making a turn.....
I even drove a Rogue rental, and it centered up after making a turn.
I drove with the Tech and he said it was normal I said are you f*** kidding me, Thats not normal at all.

My question is does your Rogue's steering wheel straighten up after making a turn.
I will make a video of this.

That's pretty extreme. I have an '11 and no, it doesn't do that, and no that's NOT normal. I'd say it's time to get a second opinion from another shop.

I agree, as you come out of your turn and need to straighten out you shouldn't have to muscle the wheel back to the straight position, it should straighten out with just some minimal help. I'd be getting a second opinion, it sounds like your power steering box is not working properly, or perhaps there's an issue with the steerying rack, but it sounds like the PS box to me.

Yup.

+1. Is the dealer you're using the only one in your area? Not all dealers of a given brand are identical. The Honda dealer I use is the 4th closest to me for this very reason -- their service department is that much better than the 3 closer to me.

Other Nissan Dealer Is 26 Miles away not really worth the drive.
I'm Going to see if I could Get a New Service Advisor at the Same Dealership.

Have your lower ball joints checked. people often miss out on those items and that will have your tires sitting in a manor that fights AGAINST the wheels wanting to return back to "home" position (straight).

(i have NEVER delved into the style of steering system that our Rogues have - but on cars with traditional power-steering systems things like the "Steering Rack Adjuster / Steering rack pre-tensioner " needs to loosened slightly to help this problem - but idk if our rogues have those.)
