thats why. u cant just drill a 1/2 inch bit in it. if u do, there will be too much play in the holes and the wheel studs. so s*** happens, go 5 lug its easy as f***.Viet-Tam wrote:I have a 4 lug, got it drilled at a machine shop.
cool Story Bro!Legion76 wrote:Even if a rotor is brand new, it could be warped. It depends on how it was stored. I've had to turn brand new rotors and drums before. I had a bad vibration in my truck after replacing both rear drums because they were not completely round.
it wont matter because the rotor is still hub centric. as long as the center hole wasnt modified it shouldnt wobble.benarovi561 wrote: thats why. u cant just drill a 1/2 inch bit in it. if u do, there will be too much play in the holes and the wheel studs. so s*** happens, go 5 lug its easy as f***.
thats what i was thinking too also one bolt she be the original size and the other 3 might be bigger, kinda got me worried here im about to redrill my rotors for 4 lug this weekendTheRealNap0le0n wrote:it wont matter because the rotor is still hub centric. as long as the center hole wasnt modified it shouldnt wobble.
I re drilled my rotors 5lug, they were 4lug, and it was fine, the holes for the lug nuts are suppose to be a tad bigger, drill them then use a step drill to make the holes the right size.P_856 wrote:
