I posted a while back for my new after market wheel here zerothread?id=389168I wanted to keep the functionality of my cruise control. So I finally figured it out.I found which wires went to what buttons on the stock wheel and needed to find a way to connect the set/coast and the accel/resume button to the column. Each button on the stock wheel used the ground from the column and a separate lead to complete the circuit. I got a pack of male/female barrel connectors.I took the lower contact ring off the hub and put a connector on that

Drilled a small hole for a bolt and attached two leads with ring terminals. Also used blue thread lock so it doesn't come loose.

Drilled a hole in the hub shroud for one of the above leads to go through

Assembled the hub adapter and shroud

Crimped male ends of the barrel connectors to the bottom side of the quick release for the horn.

Attached the quick release base to the hub which would be bolted together. (the lead aren't completely connected yet since it not attached to the column yet)

I spliced the two black leads from the buttons on the wheel to one barrel connector. Then snapped it together to the lead coming from the bottom of the hub shroudAs for the red leads I soldered them each to one of the leads in a cell charger cord.(when the wheel is turned it will stretch with the wheel and not get caught up)

Front view after everything is connected.

I used the cell charger cord so it wouldn't hang low and get tangled. It's all easily disconnected when I want.I know I could have relocated the buttons but I didn't want to have to reach around for them.

Don't know if this would help anyone. I'll more pics once It's all hooked up and put back together.

thanks man, now I can get my dash back together, well right after I figure out the dimmer switch for the gauge faces. I can't wait to get everything back together.

now that I got this done. if later on I want to use the buttons for whatever, like the paddle setup or nawzz

aw man to be able to do that paddle shifter from here zerothread?id=179632 That would be awesome, I wouldn't have to really release my grip form the wheel to hit the paddle. I'm gonna really look into that. If I'm thinking right, the paddles are just buttons really, right?
