when i reach speeds of 80 mph or above, my steering wheel would start to vibrate alot. I dont think any of the wheel weights are missing, anybody have the same problem?

if it's only at high speeds, I'd chance it and say wheel balance.

if you have CostCo tires, you can take it in and let them take a gander.
Otherwise, take it to a Les Schwab or America's Tire Company and see if they'll balance for you. It should be like $10 to balance 1 tire.

With the amount of meat on SUV tires, it wouldn't suprise me that it's the tires.

$4.25/ea wheel to balance a non-Costco tire, FYI. ;)

lol i have costco tires :P very nice ones too Radial X LT2, great for the road

too bad i got them right before i was thinkin bout offroading, or even had the slightest clue you could fit bigger tires on the same wheel, i would have gotten BFG all terrain taKO's

the vibrations are recent, and i checked, none of the weights are missing. i installed a new cv axle but i leave my hubs unlocked hmmm...

i know im putting you guys in risk, but see if you get vibrations at the wheel at 80mph because i know all of you drive usually drive the legal speed limits :P
