Whenever I'm driving on the highway (or on any high speed roads), the steering is fine until i go down a portion of the road (slight steep) then the steering starts to vibrate..but once i'm back on even ground the vibration stops..any ideas?..or even uphill is fine but once i hit down it starts to vibrate..and i'm not even near the brake pedal.

i had the car alighted and tire balanced 2 days ago..

any ideas :gotme

So is it on any downgrade or just one specific area? Could just be the road, but you could always jack it up and check for wheel play for a possible bearing. check the tie rods etc.

Get under the car and check for anything loose/worn. Grab the tie rods and see if they have any play in them, grab the wheel with one hand on the top and another on the bottom and see if you can move it back and forth (not spin it, try to push top/bottom in towards the engine) Well your under look at the control arm bushings see if they are worn or cracked look at the tension rod bushings and see if they are cracked or leaking etc.

Might be a kingpin bearing. A few people have had similar problems
