My guess would be you need your tires rebalanced. When just a bit off balance, there are speeds at which it's not noticable, and speeds when it's exaggerated.

my car is smoothe but @ 95 i get a bad shimmy all looks good and mechanic said all wheels were perfectly balanced on his machine. The only bushing not replaced yet and is shot is the rear lower strut bushing.(do u think this can be the problem). I will know tomorrow it is going ino the shop.I spoke to a tire / wheel shop that has a Roadforce Hunter Balancer, they charge $15.00 per tire (very fair) he said balancing disappears after 65mph?, but said he would put me up for diagnostic and balancing on friday if my prob does not disappear after the bushing.

Have you considered a little chunk of mud on the rotating wheel? I once had a terrible shimmy when I hit the highway after a snow/ice storm. On a hunch I ran it through a car wash and presto, no more shimmy. Been driving around any mud recently?

Was your first run shortly after starting the car for the first time of the day? Maybe after sitting for a long time? There's the possibility that your tires were flat-spotted at first, and then became round again by the time you made your second run.
