My 95 G50 steering wheel is in sad shape, peeling and flaking off on the rim. It leaves my hands feeling sticky every time I drive it, so I'd like to replace it. Every stock replacement I have found seems to have the same issue.

I really would like to keep the stock wheel so I can keep the cruise control functional, but I'm starting to think finding a stock replacement in good shape isn't going to happen.

Anybody have pics of an aftermarket wheel in a G50? What do you need to put in an aftermarket wheel?

I have a black leather cover that's stitched in place over the existing steering wheel cover. It looks great and seems to be more durable than the OEM leather. Cost was about $30.

This is the perfect answer! Wheelskins is the brand name.
