Steering Wheel Swap

Was tryn to get a woodgrain steering wheel for my 99 Q45t found a 03 I30 wheel. need to know will it fit??? thanks in advance.

Why not get a 2001 wheel? Maple won't match. Someone adapted a QX4 wheel.

Personally, I prefer wood or leather wheel. Both is a Lexus induced affectation.

Well the wheel is wood & leather and it matches my interior which is black & dark woodgrain. I need to know will it fit with out any problems.

You'll have to try it. I know the QX4 wheel required some extra work on the cosmetics.

if memory serves im not even sure they got the airbag to work properly.

That's not good. the one I'm lookn at doesn't have the airbag in it. I was gonna try to use my exisiting one.

i got the air bag to work fine, just not the car yet...

the connections are the same from 90 to 2001, possibly more, but thats my experience. id imagine it would be the same tho?

best bet. call scottsdale and them to check it out for you. they may have both bags in stock.
