Steering wheel swap?

I want to replace the steering wheel on my 93 g50. The leather on top is starting to crack and peel off. Do you guys know what else will fit? I was at the junkyard the other day and I found a 2000-01 maxima leather wheel, I think it will fit, but the airbags are different. Also the horn is integrated into the airbag, as for mine are just 2 buttons on the left and right side.

There were some posts a while back about using other steering wheels... i think they were going for the wood/leather look. I'm not sure about the connections and spiral cable though. You might also think about buying a spare Q wheel from a junk yard cheap, and sending it to someplace like http://www.wheelskins.com to have it recovered.

I think someone has swapped a 99 or 2000 QX4/Pathfinder steeringwheel/airbag into his Q.

Maybe he'll see this or check a few sigs, he makes mention of it in there.

this wheel is from a 2001 qx4 almost a direct bolt on. i still have not yet bought an airbag so i can tell you for sure thats its gonna work.99 % chance tho.
